The Application deadline is Friday, November 8, 2024 by 11:59 PM (EST). This is a DCSAA pay grade 41 position. For external candidates, official transcripts will be required if you are recommended for the position. Your degree must be from an accredited university. If the position does not require a college degree, you are required to have at least a high school diploma. Candidates with academic training and degrees granted outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency from an accredited agency in the U.S.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Coordinates the preparation and processing of contracts, statements of work, quotes, invoices and payments related to hardware and software technology in the District. Responsible for forecasts and financial analysis for technology purchases for the department. Assigns and coordinates assignments to subordinate staff.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Responsible for evaluating, verifying, and processing invoices from vendors.
2. Ensures adherence to all deadlines in order to maintain the timely flow of all payments related to technological and telecommunication products.
3. Assists administrative superior in operational planning, developing and implementing procedures as required by work flow.
4. Researches vendors for technology products and involved in contract negotiations for District purchases of hardware and software.
5. Prepares various vendor performance reports needed for the evaluation of vendors.
6. Responsible for auditing and analyzing accounts utilizing various reports and the District’s Financial System.
7. Assumes some of the responsibilities of the supervisor when necessary.
8. Performs other duties related to the general administrative responsibilities of the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work requires the following physical activities: sitting, mobility, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in contract administration and documented preparation, budgeting or accounting.
OR
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the area of contract administration and document preparation, budgeting or accounting, including a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in one of these areas.
2. Demonstrated understanding and detailed knowledge of technology hardware and software negotiations.
3. Functional and working knowledge of online computer systems.
4. Ability to communicate effectively as evidenced by clarity and conciseness of oral presentations and submitted documents.
5. Demonstrated working knowledge of technology procurement principles and procedures.
