If the position does not require a college degree, you are required to have at least a high school diploma. Candidates with academic training and degrees granted outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency from an accredited agency in the U.S.

Coordinator Resource Control
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Responsible for providing administrative support to assigned department. Coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations, including supervising staff and processes; including recruitment, payroll/personnel, budgeting, property audits and coordinating activities for other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Monitors all movement of Facilities Operations, Maintenance (FOM) personnel and monitors open and filled positions, analyze budgets and controls to properly plan for future fiscal requirements through recruitment activities.
2. Familiarity and knowledge of Labor Contracts and job requirements for trades, support staff and administrative positions within FOM.
3. Assist in reviewing and implementing new policies and procedures for implementation of the department to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
4. Uses electronic databases, scheduling applications, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and spreadsheet software programs to create, maintain, review, analyze, and evaluate allocation of staff by cost per square footage.
5. Plans, develops, organizes, assists and monitors yearly training courses conducted by internal and external subject matter experts and facilitators.
6. Ensure training manuals and handbooks are kept current for FOM and fall within the guidelines for FOM and the district.
7. Liaison with various District Departments i.e., Office of Professional Standards (OPS), Civil Rights and Compliance (CRC), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Support Staffing to fulfill the needs and goals of FOM.
8. Participates in conflict resolution including recommendations for corrective and/or disciplinary actions.
9. Advises the supervisor on all centralized administrative matters and monitors those activities for the supervisor.
10. Supervises administrative support staff, as assigned.
11. Performs other duties related to the general administrative responsibilities of the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work requires the following physical activities: sitting, mobility, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management and Information Systems (MIS) or related field.
OR
High School diploma and five (5) years’ experience in a large organization with increased administrative duties and responsibilities including but not limited to HR functions, training, budget, workers’ compensation, and property audits.
2. An in-depth knowledge of payroll processes, personnel practices, workers’ compensation.
3. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with computerized systems, within a large private or public entity.
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
5. Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license.
