- Two (2) Professional Letters of Recommendation signed or electronic signature and dated within the last 12 months (one year) of the application. Conferred Transcripts with a Graduation Date: Current M-DCPS employees do not need to submit official transcripts if highest degree earned is on file in the Office of Personnel Records (305-995-7258). For external candidates, official transcripts will be required if you are recommended for the position. Your degree must be from an accredited university. If the position does not require a college degree, you are required to have at least a high school diploma. Candidates with academic training and degrees granted outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency from an accredited agency in the U.S.

Salary Min: $87,944.00
Salary Max: $167,290.00
Directs, supervises and coordinates the activities of the department as directed by the immediate supervisor. Implements the philosophy, goals, objectives, and policies of stakeholder engagement and District efforts to support community involvement.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Directs, supervisors implement and monitor District community services programs to actively engage family and community members to become partners in raising and maintaining high student achievement.
2. Prepares grant applications for community services and stakeholder engagement initiatives as directed.
3. Designs and supervises the plans for implementing community involvement programs to meet the strategic plan of the school system and to comply with School Board policies including professional development activities and trainings for stakeholders.
4. Coordinates professional development activities for assistant principals for community education.
5. Provides information to administrative and instructional personnel, parents and community groups regarding issues related to the areas of responsibility of the office.
5. Plans and directs the implementation of new programs.
6. Prepares, engages, and monitors contracts for services to support community, business and parental partnership efforts.
7. Directs the procurement, allocation and distribution of support materials, curriculum, and training stakeholders for all community services programs.
8. Plans and conducts recognition and appreciation events for programs.
9. Reviews current research and identifies appropriate professional development opportunities for the professional growth of district staff that service the schools.
10. Develops and maintains reports regarding district-wide information relative to the responsibilities of the office.
11. Assists the Administrative Director in supervising and evaluating the performance of personnel assigned to the office.
12. Performs other duties related to general administration responsibilities of the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work requires the following physical activities: sitting, mobility, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Master's degree or higher in education or a related field or a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years private sector administrative/supervisory experience.
2. Minimum of seven (7) years of successful administrative/leadership experiences in education, business and/or community relations or marketing.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and in written form.
4. Demonstrated ability to secure resources through such avenues as private sector solicitation, grant/foundation writing, and/or special events.
